Restored 1875 Ottoman row houses now home to flagship boutiques and fine dining
Akaretler is a restored row of 19th-century Ottoman townhouses originally built in 1875 to house palace staff of nearby Dolmabahçe. After a major restoration completed in 2008, the uniform stone facades now shelter flagship boutiques, designer studios, and destination restaurants along the sloping Süleyman Seba Caddesi. The enclave sits between Beşiktaş and Maçka, giving it both the buzz of the football district and the polish of Nişantaşı.
