Run by Venetian twins Stefano and Max Colombo (the name is Venetian dialect for 'twins'), Xemei is widely held to be the best Italian table in Barcelona. A cluttered, warm room of mismatched furniture around a central bar opening to the kitchen, sending out cicchetti, fresh pasta and grilled seppie with polenta, paired with an organic wine list.
