Marbella's one-star kitchen of pure, liquid-led flavour
The manicured coastal ribbon between Marbella and Puerto Banús, where grand-hotel grills and polished beach clubs trade on a sense of arrival.
The Golden Mile is the manicured stretch of coast between Marbella town and Puerto Banús, a ribbon of gated estates, palm avenues and grand old hotels that set the template for the whole resort. Dining here is built around the legends and their successors: the Grill at Marbella Club, where waiters in white still carve at the table beneath the pines, and a newer wave of beach-club kitchens and design-led rooms like Boho Club that trade on the same sense of arrival. The crowd skews international and moneyed, but the better tables keep the Andalusian product front and centre — grilled fish, Ibérico, vegetables from the Málaga huertas. It rewards those who treat it as an occasion rather than a backdrop.
