The room is small, wood-panelled, lit like a study, with photographs of Hemingway and Fitzgerald and a roll-call of cocktails the bar claims to have invented. Order the Serendipity (Calvados, mint, apple juice, champagne), the Ritz 75, or the dry martini. The €1,500 Ritz Sidecar (pre-phylloxera cognac) is for show — ignore it. Drinks are around €34.
