Selectist's harbour-side hi-fi house with Funktion One sound
june opened on Ahmet Fetgeri quietly, and quickly became Nişantaşı's most credible listening bar. The format is purist — high-end Hi-Fi, vinyl-only, dim lighting, archive built around jazz, soul, funk and ambient — but the room reads more neighbourhood bar than audiophile temple, with cocktails that hold up next to the music (Milfshake, Hawai Pizza, Kaptan Banana). Open 09:00–02:00, so it works as a coffee desk by day and a serious drinks room at night. The closest thing on the European side to what Tokyo's listening rooms actually feel like.
