| Laatst beoordeeld: May 2026 On The Cut between Waterloo and Blackfriars, The Anchor & Hope has run since 2003 on a half-walk-in, half-by-phone booking system, a chalkboard menu that changes twice a day, and a kitchen sourcing from the same St John-school producer list. The Sunday lunch — slow-roasted shoulder, whole partridges, Yorkshire puddings the size of bowls — is the most-recommended Sunday roast south of the river. İstanbullu seconders that comes for the National Theatre or the Bridge Theatre walks here first.
