Kopke, founded in 1638 and the world's oldest port wine house, runs an intimate tasting house over three floors on Gaia's riverfront. The upstairs tasting rooms, capped at around twenty-five guests, look out over the Douro and the Dom Luís bridge while you work through aged tawnies and colheitas paired with chocolate. It is a tasting-led house rather than a cellar tour, and the better for it.
