Think Tank
Crete's pioneering third-wave espresso and wine bar with a roof terrace
Heraklion's pedestrian café-and-bar spine by the Venetian Loggia, where the city does its evening coffee, cocktails and sitting out.
Korai and Daidalou are Heraklion's pedestrian café and dining streets, a short walk from the Venetian Loggia and the main square. Daidalou is the polished promenade of tavernas and tables; Korai, running parallel, is the denser, more bar-led lane where the city does its evening coffee, cocktails and late sitting. Together they form the social spine of the centre — packed in the early evening, good for people-watching, with everything from quick mezedes to proper restaurants in a few hundred metres. This is where Heraklion goes out, more than where it eats best, though the better kitchens are within reach.
