Merlot Şarap Evi
Bağdat Caddesi
Kapadokya-rooted wine bar bringing cellared bottles to the avenue
Mensis Mahzen reads as a regular tekel from the Zafer Sk pavement and hides a proper mahzen — a stone-walled cellar — behind it, stacked with mostly small-producer Turkish wines, indie craft beer, and serious whisky. You can buy and walk, or sit at the small tasting counter for a few glasses with charcuterie. The cellar functions as the Osmanbey equivalent of Sensus on the European side: locally-anchored, low-frills, and the place natural-wine producers themselves drink when they're in town. Some of the best by-the-bottle prices of any wine room in the area.
