Mezme is a small Kurtuluş meze shop and meyhane where Sasun Estukyan makes the Antakya and old-Istanbul dishes he grew up on, no gloss and barely sixteen seats. The mezes are the point, the room is plain and the regulars are the neighbourhood. It is the quiet, personal end of the meyhane tradition rather than the loud one.
