| Last reviewed: May 2026 Set in the ground floor of an old theatre in Karaköy's hipster quarter, Mitte has been reimagined as a spacious, light-filled cocktail bar and restaurant that's two parts French art deco and one part Keith Haring. Designer Sami Savatli created a stunning space with Italian terrazzo flooring, handcrafted ceramics, brass lamps, and a dramatic ceiling featuring 166 wooden blocks of abstract designs hand-painted with ink and gold leaf.
