A tiny, characterful bar built entirely around Portuguese tinned fish, where the tackle-shop décor and rows of conservas predate the street's tourist makeover. You order tins of sardines, mackerel, eel or octopus with bread, pickles and wine, the most authentic conservas ritual in the city. A genuine institution rather than a strip novelty.
