A family pasticceria on quiet Via dell'Orto, founded by Bruno Buonamici in 1949 and still run by his children. Proper Tuscan breakfast pastries, schiacciata and seasonal cakes baked on site for a neighbourhood that has come back without losing it. The kind of bakery the locals queue at, not the tour groups.
