Owned by Chris D'Sylva (also of the Notting Hill Fish Shop and Supermarket of Dreams next door) and run in the kitchen by Max Coen — formerly of Frantzén, Ikoyi and Kitchen Table — Dorian has held a Michelin star through both the 2025 and 2026 guides while looking and behaving like a busy local brasserie. The wood grill is the through-line: Cornish day-boat fish, Limousin veal chop with vin jaune, the simplest produce treated with three-star technique. The room is small, loud and under-styled in the right way; this is the Notting Hill booking when Core and the Ledbury are full.
