One of İzmir's oldest surviving meyhanes, taken over in 1966 by Yaşar Dede and still run on the same recipes across generations. Famous for its meze table, köfte and sucuk, it remains the Bornova address for a long, classic rakı table. A living institution in the old university-and-Levantine district, untouched by trend.
