Bricole
One Michelin star, small-plate French-modern in Friedenau.
Kollwitzplatz Saturday market + bistro strip + the brunch and third-wave coffee capital of Berlin.
North-east of Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg holds the post-Wende generation that moved into the surviving Gründerzeit blocks and never left, the Kollwitzplatz Saturday market, the Helmholtzplatz café grid, the Pappelallee bistro strip and the Schönhauser Allee axis. The gezgin uses the hood for the long-form brunch (the format Berlin owns), the third-wave coffee circuit (Bonanza was an early roastery), and the modern-bistro dinner where the menu changes weekly. Quieter than Mitte's commercial pulse, more rooted than Neukölln's churn.
