Pierluigi Fais reimagines Sardinia in a former carpentry workshop
Self-taught Oristano chef Pierluigi Fais turned an old carpentry shop into Cagliari's most quietly serious kitchen, opened in 2017. Memory and experiment meet over local pork, fregula and mullet, reworked with modern technique in two small post-industrial rooms. The identity is clear and personal rather than showy.
