Navigli
Canal-side aperitivo energy

Navigli

Canal-side district that is Milan's densest aperitivo and nightlife strip.

Navigli is the canal district along the Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese, the surviving stretches of Milan's medieval waterway network designed in part by Leonardo. The towpaths are now the city's densest aperitivo and nightlife strip, lined with bars, osterie and the antiques market that fills the banks on the last Sunday of each month. It is Milan at its most sociable, especially from early evening onward.
