One of the small quartet of cafés ringing Ravello's Piazza Duomo, Calce has been a family fixture since the early 1970s and is widely held to pour the town's best espresso. The corner counter handles coffee, pastry and gelato with quiet competence, the lemon granita a reliable refuge from the afternoon heat. A working local bar rather than a scene.
