Corral de la Morería - Restaurante Gastronómico
An eight-seat Michelin room hidden inside the world's great tablao
Madrid's oldest tapas-crawl spine along Cava Baja, with Sunday vermut and Michelin-starred flamenco.
One of the oldest parts of the city, La Latina is built around the tapas-crawl spine of Cava Baja, a narrow medieval street lined with historic tabernas where Sunday vermut is something close to a civic ritual. It is also home to Corral de la Morería, the world's most decorated flamenco tablao and the only one to hold a Michelin star. For an Istanbul visitor the rhythm is instantly legible: this is the meyhane night, transposed to Madrid.
