Suckling pig and roasts in a restored shepherd's cottage
Countryside Gallurese tradition built around the porceddu
A countryside Gallurese table on the Arzachena-Baja Sardinia road, about twenty minutes inland from Porto Cervo. The kitchen works the ancient flavours of the region, famous above all for its porceddu, the slow-roasted suckling pig, served via a fixed menu or a la carte. An antidote to the coast's spectacle, all firewood and tradition.
Inland and rustic; the porceddu is the signature. A traditional counterweight to the yacht-set rooms on the water.
