A locals' seafood ritual: one fixed menu, whatever came in fresh
Since 1967, the Murgia family's temple to Sardinian seafood
Run by the Murgia family on the Maddalena beach south of Cagliari since 1967, this is a grand old seafood house built around the fish display at the door. The kitchen runs deep into Sardinian tradition — mullet and tuna bottarga, agliata, burrida alla cagliaritana, fregula, grilled pond eel. A 600-label cellar backs it up.
In the Michelin Guide and a Buon Ricordo house. A worthwhile short drive from the city for the real Sardinian seafood canon.
