A 1927 waterfront legend reopened with a modern kitchen
Designed by Jacques Mosse and open from 1927, Olympos Naoussa was the waterfront's grand social stage until it closed in 1994; it reopened in 2022 inside the ON Residence hotel, heritage intact. Chef Dimitris Tasioulas - formerly of Sebriko and Thria, with New York Times and Sunday Times notice behind him - reinterprets Thessaloniki's multicultural cooking with contemporary technique, looking out over the Thermaic Gulf.
New entry with one FNL star in 2025. As much a restored landmark as a restaurant; come for the room and the long lunch as well as the plates.
