Maride sits in the inland streets of Bitez, built around a wide quiet garden, opening in the morning with sourdough bread and viennoiserie. Run by Sevil and Akın, the room signs almond croissants and a Bodrum-mandarin cheesecake — quiet weekday coffee stop, long weekend breakfast. Wicker chairs under the shaded terrace, tables under the pistachio trees and a homemade cake counter make Maride one of the few cafes the peninsula counts on year-round.
