Patrick Roger won the Chocolate World Cup in 1994, was named Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2000, and built the brand on a single principle: chocolate as sculpture. The Place de la Madeleine flagship is the room that announces it — life-size chocolate gorillas, jungle dioramas, and seasonal vitrines that draw a crowd before the bonbons even register. The flavour register is exotic-restrained: lime-caramel, lemon-basil, almond-pistachio. Single-origin bars, ganache assortments, and the seasonal Easter and Christmas pieces that anchor the Paris chocolate calendar. Place de la Madeleine puts him three minutes from Hédiard, Fauchon, and Caviar Kaspia — the gourmet row at full strength.
