Shangri-La Paris
Trocadéro & Passy
Prince Roland Bonaparte's former mansion with Eiffel-facing rooms and Shang Palace's Cantonese kitchen.
1758 stone palace on Place de la Concorde, gold-scaled pool and Karl Lagerfeld suites.
One of the two neoclassical palaces commissioned by Louis XV on Place de la Concorde, the Crillon reopened in 2017 after a four-year overhaul under Rosewood and was awarded Palace classification in 2018. The 124 rooms and 36 suites include two designed by Karl Lagerfeld (Les Grands Appartements). The basement pool — 17,600 hand-applied gold scales lit by a skylight — is among the most distinctive in the city. Bar Les Ambassadeurs and the Jardin d'Hiver run on the public floors; Nonos by Paul Pairet is the French grill, while L'Écrin holds one Michelin star in a windowless jewel box.
The Lagerfeld-designed Grands Appartements are bucket-list; spa-and-pool day passes available off-season.
