Hôtel Plaza Athénée
Champs-Élysées & Madeleine
Avenue Montaigne palace with red awnings, Dior Spa and Jean Imbert's gilded dining room.
Pierre Yves Rochon-designed townhouse-palace near the Élysée with Michelin two-star Le Gabriel.
Opened in 2015 in a Second Empire mansion on avenue Gabriel and granted Palace classification in 2016, La Réserve is the smallest of the twelve Paris palaces — 25 suites and 15 rooms, two Chambre Premier and Chambre Prestige rooms at 45 square metres, top suites pushing past 200. Pierre Yves Rochon's interiors run mahogany-and-crimson (think large private apartment over hotel-grand). Executive chef Jérôme Banctel runs Le Gabriel (two Michelin stars) and the more relaxed La Pagode de Cos. Below ground sit a Nescens spa, hammam and 16-meter pool. The Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde and Élysée Palace are within a five-minute walk.
Suite Imperial faces avenue Gabriel with Eiffel sightline; spa pass with the 16m pool is reservable for non-guests.
