The Triunfo family has worked this Riviera di Chiaia address since the 1890s, when it was a wine shop; relaunched as a trattoria, it now runs on a handful of tables and a daily menu drawn from old Neapolitan recipes and the market. Antonio Triunfo, a trained enologist, pairs the kitchen with a deep cellar. Simplicity is the motto and the genovese, vongole and squid salad bear it out.
Tiny; reservation essential. Closed Tuesdays. Treat the wine list as part of the meal, not an afterthought.
