Le Loft

Le Loft sits on the eighteenth floor of the Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom on Praterstraße — the building Jean Nouvel designed in 2010 with the ceiling Pipilotti Rist did in coloured glass. Pierre Yovanovitch designed the dining room interior; the cooking is French-Austrian in the modern Sofitel idiom; and the load-bearing reason to book is the view, which puts Stephansdom and the Innere Stadt skyline in the panorama window directly opposite the bar. Michelin awards the room one star in the Austria 2026 guide. The format is four to six courses plus an a la carte; the cocktail bar runs separately and is the right pre-dinner setting.
