Dayı Balık is a small shorefront room on Ortakent's Yahşi waterfront, facing Deniz Caddesi, with a fish counter on top that also runs as a small fish market. The room, run by Cafer Karakaya, is built on seasonal mezes, fava, deniz börülcesi, grilled octopus and the catch of the day; the dining room opens directly onto the sea and the sound of the waves is part of the meal. The 2025 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award lifted it to the top of Ortakent's local rankings, and a day-ahead call is advisable for August weekends. Open from eight in the morning to midnight, with full season running from late May to mid-October.
