Bodrum Hayat Kahvaltı Evi is set in a home garden at the corner of Aşık Veysel Caddesi, on the quiet inner lanes of Gündoğan's Farilya quarter. The family-run room is built on homemade jams made fresh that day, stone-oven bread, gözleme, crisp börek and sahanda yumurta; the weight of the vegetables, fruit and herbs comes from the back garden and nearby growers. A plain garden room with no plastic display, the classic Aegean village morning stretches out with birdsong and the shade of the mulberry tree, an address that still holds its measure. Arrive by eleven on August weekends; through the season it is open from nine to roughly two, and weekday reservations are easy.
