Dalyanköy

Dalyanköy is Çeşme's working fishing harbour, where the day's catch comes in off the boats and the rakı-balık tables are set out along the same quay the fishermen tie up to. This is the address Çeşme locals give when they want to eat well without the Alaçatı marina crowd looking over their shoulder. The pleasure here is unhurried: a meze table that fills slowly, a carafe that lasts the evening, and the sound of hulls knocking against the dock. Substance over spectacle, with the harbour doing all the work the décor doesn't need to.
