Glyfada is the southern-coast suburb on the Athens Riviera — tram-end, marina, the old Hellinikon airport site to the east, organised beaches running south to Vouliagmeni. The dining is summer-anchored: beach-club restaurants, fish tavernas on the coast road, the long lunches that pull Athens out of the centre between June and September.
