KaDeWe Feinschmecker-Etage

The Feinschmecker-Etage occupies the entire sixth floor of KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens) on Tauentzienstraße, roughly 7,000 square metres of food hall organised by counter (oysters, caviar, fromagerie, the German-charcuterie line, the Italian-pasta counter, the Asian counter, the patisserie, the bakery, the wine cellar) with seated bar counters at each. The format is grand-magasin in scale, Galeries Lafayette's Paris equivalent, Harrods' London equivalent, and the natural lunch room for a Charlottenburg shopping morning or a between-bookings graze. The seventh floor sits the rooftop Wintergarten brasserie.
