Langusta
Türkiye's first lobster restaurant — Tuğrul Erol's Çiftlikköy room since 1974 and Vedat Milor's consistent Aegean pick
South-west fishing-village mahalle and lobster row
Çiftlikköy is the small fishing-village mahalle on Çeşme's south-west coast — two kilometres south of the town centre, a working harbour with a producer co-operative, and the address that Türkiye's first lobster restaurant has occupied since 1974. The new Çiftlique Hospitality project has brought hotel-grade development to the strand since 2024, but the chapter accepts only what earns it: the Erol family's Langusta and the Yılmaz family's Salonis, both family-run, both seafront, both quieter than the marina equivalents.
