Çiftlikköy
Türkiye's first lobster restaurant — Tuğrul Erol's Çiftlikköy room since 1974 and Vedat Milor's consistent Aegean pick
The Yılmaz family's Çiftlikköy seafront since 2009 — the quietest Çeşme fish table looking across to Sakız
Filiz and Özcan Yılmaz opened Salonis in 2009 on Çiftlikköy's shore road and have continued without turning toward the marina, without the front-row premium, with the same meze list and the same day's catch. The room is at the water's edge with a clean view across to Sakız Adası; cold mezes are above peninsula standard, octopus and calamari are home-style, the grilled fish is properly cooked. The right address for a night that doesn't want Çark or central Çeşme — one of the peninsula's quieter, more local fish rooms.
Time the reservation for sunset, with Sakız visible across the strait, and let the cold mezes lead into the day's fish. Ten minutes from the marina crowd, same fresh tezgâh.
