Karaburun

Far-north peninsula day-trip — coves, villages, working iskele

Karaburun is the long, sparsely populated peninsula that points north from Çeşme — administratively a separate district, but Çeşme-Alaçatı travellers reach it on day trips for the protected coves, the Saip and Sarpıncık inland villages, the Mordoğan harbour and the working fish row that has stayed quieter than anywhere on the southern peninsula. The chapter accepts the rooms that earn the trip.
