| Last reviewed: May 2026 On Westendstraße, where Schwanthalerhöhe finally settles into its working-class self, Restaurant Athen has been serving the local Greek community and the Bavarians who married in. The menu is short and unapologetic — gyros done properly, kalamarakia, mezedes, the kind of Greek olive oil they actually sell you in half-litre bottles to take home. Family-run, quick, friendly, no English menu nonsense. This is the Greek night the Westend earned.
