Founded in 1837 a few steps from the Central Station in the Porta Capuana quarter, Carraturo is among the oldest surviving pasticcerie in Naples and a perennial contender for the city's best sfogliatella. The cases run deep on Neapolitan classics, from riccia and frolla to babà and pastiera. Unpolished, generational and the real article.
