Set in a restored 16th-century Venetian mansion on a quiet Topanas alley, Serenissima is led by chef Iosif Petrof, whose Lyon training shows in technique applied to Cretan produce. The format is three changing set menus — Earth, Sea and Vegan — refreshed roughly every twenty days, plus a la carte and a large wine selection. Refined, elegant and quiet rather than showy.
