Augustiner-Bräustuben

The Bräustuben sit inside the original Augustiner brewery on Landsberger Straße — a working brewhouse since the 19th century, the kitchen and Schwemme open to anyone who walks in off the platzl. Long shared tables, the Edelstoff straight from the brewery cellar next door, Schweinshaxe and Obatzda done without translation cards. This is the Augustiner room Munich locals book; the namesake on Frauenplatz is the tourist version.
