Levent and Güler Köstem's working olive farm — fourteen thousand trees, JOOP gold-medal Memecik, restaurant and three guest rooms
Separate from the Köstem museum at Uzunkuyu, the working farm sits in Nohutalan village on a ridge that catches the wind from Ildır and Zeytineli bays. Founded in 2004 by retired biologist Güler Köstem with her husband Levent, it now runs fourteen thousand certified-organic olive trees, a modern mill, a tasting room, a small restaurant in the orchard, an art gallery and three guest rooms for those who plan ahead. The Memecik natürel sızma took JOOP Gold in 2025; the early-harvest bottling is the one to leave with.
Book the orchard walk and tasting flight together — the difference between Memecik harvested in October and December is the lesson worth driving for. The Çiftlik is twenty-five minutes from the museum at Uzunkuyu; do not confuse the two.
