The Orange
Pimlico
Cubitt House's Pimlico Road gastropub-with-rooms — wood-fired pizzas, four upstairs bedrooms, the SW1 corner pub the audience trusts.
Paddington Street modern Greek — sister to Athens' two-star Funky Gourmet and the most considered Greek cooking in W1.
Opso opened on Paddington Street in 2014 from the team behind Athens' two-Michelin-star Funky Gourmet and reads as the Greek restaurant Marylebone always wanted but rarely got: contemporary, ingredient-driven, mostly direct from Greek producers. The cooking is small-plate sharing in the modern register — taramasalata with smoked cod roe, lamb gyros with whipped tzatziki, octopus and fava — alongside heavier mains like lamb kleftiko. The room is bright, white-tiled, low-key, and serves Saturday and Sunday brunch with elevated bougatsa and Greek-yoghurt plates.
Saturday brunch books up by Wednesday — the bougatsa and the lamb-yoghurt are the orders. Dinner is more mezze-driven than mains-driven; order across the page rather than per person.
