Clare Smyth's three-Michelin-star Notting Hill flagship — modern British cooking at the peninsula's ceiling
Royal Hospital Road's three-Michelin-star founding flagship, held continuously since 2001
Gordon Ramsay opened on Royal Hospital Road in 1998 and was awarded three Michelin stars in 2001 — the longest-held three-star at any London address — a distinction the 2026 guide once again upholds. The kitchen is now run day to day by Chef de Cuisine Kim Ratcharoen, the cooking the modern-French register Ramsay imported from Joël Robuchon and Guy Savoy and then tightened over twenty-five years. Twelve tables, no theatrics, the most disciplined dining room in Chelsea. The Carte Blanche tasting at £260 is the unanimous order.
Carte Blanche £260, Prestige £210, à la carte three courses £180 (as of 2026). Lunch is the same kitchen for less money and an easier room to land. Jacket required.
