Tom Sellers' two-Michelin-star tasting room — the chapter's South-Bank fine-dining anchor
Jonny Lake and Isa Bal's two-Michelin-star à la carte room — Fat Duck alumni at neighbourhood register
Jonny Lake (executive chef at The Fat Duck for fifteen years) and Isa Bal (Master Sommelier, also ex-Fat Duck) opened Trivet in Snowsfields Yard in 2019 — Lake American, Bal Turkish, both products of Heston Blumenthal's bench. Won a first Michelin star within months, a second in 2024, has held both into the 2026 Guide. The format is rare for two stars: a proper à la carte menu rather than tasting-only, run with neighbourhood-restaurant warmth. Bal's wine list is deep on Madeira, Hungarian Tokaji, Anatolian wines. The chapter's most quietly serious South-Bank kitchen.
Ask Isa Bal directly for the Anatolian wine pairing — Trivet keeps a Turkish-wine library most Mayfair rooms cannot match. The Snowsfields entrance is unmarked; the door is the glass one in the courtyard, not the street. Lunch is roughly half the dinner spend and the same kitchen.
