An Au-Isar institution on Eduard-Schmid-Straße quietly running since the eighties, four hundred metres from Mariahilfplatz and a short stroll from the Isar embankment. Daily-changing lunch dishes, a long drink list, rotating local-artist exhibitions on the brick walls, and one of the more honest weekend brunches in Munich's east bank. Open noon to ten daily, which means it absorbs late-Sunday-walk Isar traffic without becoming a destination itself.
