Le Bar du Bristol
Champs-Élysées & Madeleine
Le Bristol's curiosity-cabinet bar — Maxime Hoerth, first bartender awarded Meilleur Ouvrier de France (2011).
Royal Monceau's Philippe Starck-designed long bar — Forbes Travel Guide Star Bars 2025 pick on Avenue Hoche.
Le Bar Long sits inside Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris on Avenue Hoche, a hundred metres from the Étoile. Philippe Starck broke the convention of the hotel-bar counter by installing a single long high table running through the centre of the room — mirrored screens, dimmed lighting, design armchairs — that reframed how the room reads. The cocktail card pairs reinvented French classics with travel-themed signatures; small plates and tapas keep the format between drink and dinner. Recognised in Forbes Travel Guide's Star Bars Awards 2025 alongside fifty-seven establishments worldwide. Regulars use Le Bar Long for the discreet Étoile-side meeting drink, the post-Salle Pleyel nightcap, and the alternative palace-hotel bar when the Bristol and the Plaza are booked solid.
The long central table is the Starck signature — sit at it, not the side banquettes, for the room read. Tapas pair with the cocktail spec.
