Pétrelle
Pigalle & SoPi
Candlelit 9e dining room, reborn under chef Lucie Boursier-Mougenot.
Anglophone-led tasting menu in a triplex above the Palais-Royal — Paris's quiet neo-bistro standard
Braden Perkins and Laura Adrian, who originally ran the Hidden Kitchen supper club, took the triplex on rue de Richelieu and turned it into one of the most considered tasting-menu rooms in central Paris. Five courses change weekly — produce comes largely from their own garden outside the city — and the wine list leans toward natural growers without being doctrinaire. The downstairs wine bar is no-reservations and serves the same kitchen's snacks: fried chicken sandwich, pickles, frites. Reservation upstairs, walk-in downstairs is the play.
Tasting upstairs needs booking two weeks ahead; the wine bar downstairs takes walk-ins from 18:00 — go early for a stool.
