Up a worn staircase opposite the Mercato Albinelli, Aldina has fed Modena since 1973 with the kind of cucina casalinga you would hope a grandmother made. Tortellini in brodo, tagliatelle al ragu and a tight handwritten list of mains at prices that have barely moved. Lunch only, no reservations, and reliably packed with locals.
