Ory Bar

On the ground floor of the Mandarin Oriental, behind the Marienplatz, Ory is the city's most awarded cocktail room — Mixology Bar Award for Best Hotel Bar in the DACH region in 2025 and again in 2026. Conceived by gastronomic operator Maximilian Gradl (Barschaft B17), the room is dark green and gold with brass fixtures, wood panels, red velvet and oversized planters, a Krug-by-the-glass programme poured from magnum, and a cocktail menu that re-interprets classics through avant-garde technique without falling into theatre. Less of a hotel bar in feel than a stand-alone destination room that happens to sit inside one of Munich's best hotels.
